Cala Llentrisca: A haven of peace<\/h2>\n

This is a small pebble beach<\/strong> about 100 meters long, where it is common to find dried posidonia remains<\/strong>. Note that being hidden under small cliffs<\/strong> it does not enjoy sunlight in the afternoon. It has no bars or services, but there are a few boathouses. To get there, you must go to Es Cubells<\/a><\/strong> and follow the path that turns left from the church towards the Los Parques de Es Cubells development. After parking the car, you still have to walk about 800 meters.<\/p>\n

Cala Aubarca: Wild beauty<\/h2>\n

Although it is less than 3 km from the town of San Mateo<\/a><\/strong>, access to Cala Aubarca (or Cala d\u2019Albarca) will take you a walk of about 40-45 minutes<\/strong>. If you are looking for unspoiled nature, this is your beach, but be aware that you will not find bars or houses nearby and that the shore has been almost completely covered by huge rocks fallen from the cliffs over the years. However, it is a spectacular landscape, ideal for lovers of tranquility and for bird watching, such as the Eleonora’s falcon, which nests on the cliffs.<\/p>\n

\"Cala<\/p>\n

Sa Figuera Borda: A natural monument<\/h2>\n

It can hardly be considered a cove as such, but this place is a genuine natural monument<\/strong>, a rock arch under which there are some boathouses and which offers spectacular sunset views with the islet of s\u2019Espartar in the background. It is advisable to wear bathing shoes, as it is all rocky. To get there, follow the coast for about 20-30 minutes<\/strong> from the Platjes de Comte<\/a><\/strong> parking lot to the south. There are stairs that allow you to go down for a swim.<\/p>\n

Es Cal\u00f3 de s\u2019Illa: Calmness in its essence<\/h2>\n

This is a small cove, just 30 meters<\/strong> long, located in the north of the island, near San Juan. It is a little-frequented cove, popularly known as \u201cMoon Beach\u201d<\/strong>, which usually has an accumulation of posidonia on the shore and very clear waters. It is an ideal place for snorkeling<\/strong>. There are also, on the right, a few boathouses. To get there, follow the signs you will find on the road from San Juan to Portinatx. After parking the car, you still have to walk a bit to the cove, which, of course, has no bar or any service.<\/p>\n

Rac\u00f3 de ses Dones: A corner for connoisseurs<\/h2>\n

This is a tiny cove<\/strong> with rather difficult access that owes its name to the fact that it was formerly a beach for women only. It is located between Aguas Blancas<\/a><\/strong> and Es Figueral, and has just 20 meters of sand. To get there, you must find a hole dug under the monolith of Es Paller d\u2019en Camp (a very recognizable natural monolith between Figueral and Aguas Blancas).<\/p>\n

Es Pas de s\u2019Illa: A bridge to paradise<\/h2>\n

This is a curious strip of sand and rocks that connects the coast to Illa den Bosc in the Port of San Miguel, a private islet with an impressive mansion. Access to the island is forbidden, but you can swim and sunbathe in this small cove with several boathouses. To get there, you must head towards the Port of San Miguel and, before arriving, take the turnoff to Na Xamena. After about 900 meters, a dirt road starts on the right that you must follow to the end.<\/p>\n

Sa Pedrera de Cala d\u2019Hort: Discover Ibiza’s \u00abAtlantis\u00bb<\/h2>\n

Known to most tourists by the nickname \u201cAtlantis\u201d<\/strong>, this place of unique beauty has become more well-known in recent years. Still, its somewhat difficult access<\/strong> keeps the cove relatively virgin. And that is because to get there, you have to go down (and then up) a quite steep dune. The landscape is very particular because it was one of the areas from where mar\u00e9s stone was extracted for construction, leaving behind a series of natural pools that add a lot of charm. Head towards Cala d\u2019Hort<\/a><\/strong> and, before arriving, on the left, there is a small path that will lead you there.<\/p>\n

Punta Galera: A paradise for the senses<\/h2>\n

This is a small cove formed by quite comfortable rock platforms. It is very popular among nudism and diving enthusiasts<\/strong> but without knowing it, it is somewhat difficult to find because the path is not indicated. To get there, you must head towards Cala Salada<\/a><\/strong> and turn left on a turnoff before arriving. Note that it is advisable to wear good footwear to go down there.<\/p>\n
