This is a\u00a0<strong>quiet and family friendly<\/strong>\u00a0tourist resort where you may not find much partying but where gorgeous beaches, great restaurants, craft markets and tradition abound.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How to get to Santa Eulalia<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Getting to Santa Eulalia is easy, it is just a\u00a0<strong>15-minute drive<\/strong>\u00a0from Ibiza on one of island\u2019s main roads, the EI 20, better known as simply the road to Santa Eulalia. You can also get there by bus from Ibiza with L13\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ibizabus.com\/ibiza\/lineas\/?route=14\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">l\u00ednea 13\u00a0<\/a>or with the night bus N\u00ba 13 \u00a0l\u00ednea nocturna N13.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What to see in Santa Eulalia?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When you arrive in Santa Eulalia from Ibiza you can\u2019t help noticing the lovely Hill towering at the entrance to the town, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ibiza.travel\/directorio\/iglesia-de-santa-eul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Puig de Missa<\/a>\u00a0with its 16th century fortress\u00a0<strong>church<\/strong>, a cemetery, gardens and wonderful views over the sea and the town. There is a lovely walk up to the top from the riverbed of about 3km, the\u00a0<strong>Ruta del R\u00edo\u00a0<\/strong>(river route) which passes by the bridges\u00a0<strong>Pont Vell<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Pont Nou<\/strong>, the centre\u00a0<strong>Can Planetes<\/strong>, with its old flour mill and the\u00a0<strong>Ethnographic Museum\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ibiza.travel\/directorio\/museo-etnografico-de-ibiza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Museo de Etnograf\u00eda<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0located in an old typical farmhouse. The river of Santa Eulalia is the one and only river in the Balearics, and although the riverbed is practically dry, it still affords a pleasant walk down to the river mouth.<\/p>\n<p>In Santa Eulalia town you Will find all kinds of shops, bars and restaurants. The town is built around the main Street,\u00a0<strong>Sant Jaume<\/strong>\u00a0with its municipal cinema. The pedestrian walkway\u00a0<strong>S\u2019Alamera<\/strong>\u00a0descends from the\u00a0<strong>Town Hall<\/strong>\u00a0to the sea and has some colourfully eye-catching fountains. Another great option is to stroll along the\u00a0<strong>promenade<\/strong>\u00a0to the\u00a0<strong>leisure port<\/strong>, one of the most important ones in the Balearics with plenty of shops and restaurants. If you walk a bit further almost to the outskirts, you Will come to the\u00a0<strong>Palacio de Congresos<\/strong>\u00a0de Ibiza, an impressive space which holds all kinds of cultural events, fairs and congresses.<\/p>\n<p>What is\u00a0 more,\u00a0 the towns\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ibizaruralvillas.com\/san-carlos\/\">San Carlos<\/a><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ibizaruralvillas.com\/\">Santa Gertrudis<\/a>,<strong>\u00a0Puig d\u2019en Valls and Jes\u00fas<\/strong>, as well as the tourist resorts\u00a0<strong>Es Canar and Es Figueral<\/strong>\u00a0all belong to the municipality of Santa Eulalia. Worth highlighting are also the municipality\u2019s beautiful beaches like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ibizaruralvillas.com\/playa-de-aguas-blancas\/\">Aguas Blancas<\/a><strong>, Es Figueral,\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ibizaruralvillas.com\/alquiler\/can-font\/normas\/\">Cala Llonga<\/a><strong>, Cala Nova, Cala Llenya, Cala Boix, Cala Martina, Pou des Lle\u00f2\u00a0or Cala Mastella\u00a0<\/strong>We must also mention that two of Ibiza\u2019s most famous hippy markets,\u00a0<strong>Las Dalias<\/strong>\u00a0in San Carlos and\u00a0<strong>Punta Arabi<\/strong>\u00a0in Es Canar are also held in the municipality.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Where to eat and drink in Santa Eulalia?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There is no end of\u00a0<strong>great bars and restaurants in Santa Eulalia<\/strong>. If you want to take potluck the best thing to do is head for the promenade or the pedestrian street known to the locals as \u201c<strong>the restaurant Street\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0which starts at the town hall and where you Will find plenty of excellent restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, we can recommend<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/login\/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fcanxarc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Can Xarc<\/a>,\u00a0 an\u00a0<strong>old farm house<\/strong>\u00a0in a great location beside the river mouth and by the sea. It is\u00a0<strong>great value for money<\/strong>\u00a0and often puts on live music.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/login\/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FRestaurante-O-GALEGO-113197725365855%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">O Galego<\/a>, one of the\u00a0<strong>best Galician restaurants on the island<\/strong>\u00a0offering highest quality fresh produce.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eldeseoibiza.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">El Deseo<\/a>,\u00a0 a\u00a0<strong>Mexican restaurant<\/strong>\u00a0with a spacious terrace by the sea.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cellercanpere.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Celler Ca\u2019n Pere<\/a>, is a\u00a0<strong>classic for local Ibizan cuisine<\/strong>\u00a0with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea.
