Ideally, you would need at least\u00a0three days on the island<\/a><\/u>, but even if you only have one day to visit Ibiza, there is no shortage of things to do. What should I see during my 1-day stay on Ibiza?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is important that you rent a car<\/a><\/u>\u00a0or a moped<\/strong>\u00a0for travelling around, so you may make the most of your time. Due to the island\u2019s size, it is perfectly feasible to cover its entire perimeter in one day, but you will have to choose your locations wisely, as obviously it will be impossible to visit each and every one of its 50 calas (bay beaches) and beaches.<\/p>\n

Our suggestion is to start by\u00a0having breakfast at Marina Botafoch\u00a0<\/strong>while enjoying the beautiful views of the port and Dalt Vila in bars such as Calma or Capuccino. After gathering your strength, visit the beaches at\u00a0Salinas <\/a><\/u>and Es Cavallet<\/a><\/u>; it\u2019s a good idea to get there as early as possible to be able to secure a parking spot. These are among Ibiza\u2019s most beautiful beaches, but also among the most popular, which means first thing in the morning is the perfect time to see them. Relax and enjoy their beautiful waters, and if you fancy adding a bit of culture to your morning, come and visit La Nave Salinas<\/strong>, which is an impressive cultural venue \u2013 and it\u2019s free to get in.<\/p>\n

After that, carry on to\u00a0Sa Caleta<\/a><\/u>,\u00a0<\/strong>Cala Jondal <\/a><\/u>or Cala d\u2019Hort<\/u><\/a>\u00a0to have a tasty rice dish or some fresh fish for lunch by the sea. Cala d\u2019Hort also features unbeatable views of the famous\u00a0Es Vedr\u00e0 islet. After lunch, you could go for a coffee at the picturesque village of\u00a0Sant Josep<\/a><\/u>\u00a0or Es Cubells<\/a><\/u>, which is perched on a small cliff by the sea and offers a beautiful perspective.<\/p>\n

Carrying on with our 1 day tour of Ibiza, make the most of the afternoon\u00a0by getting to know the area\u2019s wonderful beaches. Among the most famous are\u00a0Cala Bassa<\/a><\/u>,\u00a0<\/strong>Cala Tarida<\/a><\/u>,\u00a0<\/strong>Cala Mol\u00ed<\/a><\/u>,\u00a0<\/strong>Cala Vadella<\/a><\/u>,\u00a0<\/strong>Cala Carb\u00f3 <\/a><\/u>and Cala Comte<\/a><\/u>, all of which are stunning. Have a meander, but make sure you go to Cala Comte to see an\u00a0unforgettable sunset<\/strong>\u00a0overlooking the sea with the islet of sa Conillera\u00a0<\/strong>as a backdrop. Another option for watching the sunset is dropping by the famous \u00abSunset Strip\u00bb <\/strong>in San Antonio, where you may enjoy it while listening to famous international DJs at Caf\u00e9 del Mar or Caf\u00e9 Mambo.<\/p>\n

For dinner, you may as well stay in the area, so head over to the charming village of\u00a0San Agust\u00edn<\/a><\/u> to eat at the Can Berri Vell restaurant, or perhaps take the opportunity of getting to know the centre and north of the island better. In\u00a0San Rafael<\/a><\/u> there are a number of lively restaurants like Can Pilot or El Coto, in San Juan<\/a><\/u> you will find veggie restaurant Sabores Naturales or Giri Caf\u00e9, in San Lorenzo<\/a><\/u>,\u00a0Paloma restaurant or the nearby Agroturismo Atzar\u00f3, and in\u00a0Santa Gertrudis<\/a><\/u>, practically the entire village is a pleasant, effervescent terrace bustling with tempting options.<\/p>\n

After dinner, if you still want to make the most of your time on the island,\u00a0a must is to take a walk around the romantic streets of Dalt Vila<\/strong>, Ibiza\u2019s historical centre\u00a0and UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/a><\/u>. This is also a perfect opportunity for shopping, both in Dalt Vila and in La Marina, near the port. After having something to drink in Plaza del Parque, which is in the centre and serves as usual meeting point for the locals, an unavoidable option is to head over to one of\u00a0the island\u2019s famous clubs:\u00a0Pacha, Amnesia, Privilege, H\u00ef, Ed\u00e9n or Es Parad\u00eds<\/strong>. Choose the one that is more to your taste and prepare to enjoy the unique atmosphere that has made Ibiza famous worldwide.<\/p>\n
