If you come to visit Ibiza on vacation<\/strong> the best thing to do is to forget your watch and devote yourself to relaxing strolls along the idyllic beaches, through picturesque villages and charming, remote corners of the island. However, we know that time is often limited and you won’t want to leave out any of the most important places to visit, which is why we’d like to propose a possible itinerary for 7 days<\/strong> on Ibiza<\/strong>, which includes some of the places that are most worth visiting.<\/p>\n

Are you ready?\u00a0Here we go!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 1.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Start your week on Ibiza <\/strong>enjoying a pleasant day sunbathing at Salinas <\/a><\/u>or Es Cavallet<\/strong>, two long sandy beaches that are among the most famous of Ibiza<\/u>. Salinas tends to be more crowded, but also typically features calmer waters and livelier restaurants and bars, while Es Cavallet is perfect if you want peace of mind or even to skinny dip, though you’ll have to arrive early if you want to find parking. If you\u2019re looking to dine in a restaurant, we recommend La Escollera <\/strong>or El Chiringuito<\/strong>\u00a0on Es Cavallet or the Jockey Club<\/strong>\u00a0on Salinas. Take advantage of the afternoon by attending any of the daytime parties organized every day of the summer at the famous Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel <\/strong>or by taking a walk along the bustling Playa d’en Bossa <\/strong>with its myriad of bars, clubs, and entertainment venues.<\/p>\n

Day 2.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Get to know the beaches of Sa Caleta<\/a><\/u> and Cala Jondal.<\/strong> The first, very close to the airport, is quite popular among residents and boasts an excellent restaurant for fish and rice dishes. The second is a rocky beach\u2014the stones are called “codols” in Ibiza\u2014and has become very popular among the rich and famous due to the luxurious restaurant Blue Marlin Ibiza<\/strong>, which hosts DJ sets played by internationally renowned entertainers. Another highly recommended dining option in Cala Jondal is the restaurant Yemanj\u00e1<\/strong>, serving Mediterranean cuisine. In the afternoon you can come and enjoy beaches such as Cala Comte, Cala Tarida or Cala Bassa. <\/strong>\u00a0Take advantage after the sun goes down of the chance to see the little village of San Agustin<\/a><\/u> and dine at the restaurant Can Berri Vell<\/strong>, which serves haute cuisine typical of Ibiza.<\/p>\n

Day 3.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Today we swap out a morning at the beach for a visit to any of the markets on the island<\/a><\/u>. On Wednesdays there\u2019s Canar Punta Arab\u00ed<\/strong>; on Thursdays there are craft shows in San Miguel, San Rafael, <\/strong>and Cala Llonga<\/strong>; Saturday the famous flea market of Las Dalias <\/strong>\u00a0is held in San Carlos (which also opens on Monday and Tuesday evenings from June through September); Sunday is the ecological and artisanal market of San Juan<\/a><\/u>. There are many more markets in addition to these, and some that are open every day. They\u2019re all great places to shop for an excellent souvenir for your loved ones. In the evening, we’ll head out to enjoy the famous sunset<\/strong> on the lively Sunset Strip<\/strong> in San Antonio, where you\u2019ll find locales as famous as Caf\u00e9 Mambo <\/strong>or Caf\u00e9 del Mar.<\/strong> Taking advantage of being near\u00a0 San Antonio, you can go out and party in either of its two grand nightclubs, Ed\u00e9n <\/strong>and Es Paradis.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 4.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We’re already at the halfway point of your 7 days in Ibiza! <\/strong>Check out the North of the island and enjoy beaches such as Benirr\u00e0s<\/strong>, famous for its\u00a0 Sunday drum festivals (although on Sundays car access is prohibited), Cala Xarraca<\/strong>, ideal for snorkeling, Portinatx<\/strong>, a comfortable residential area with a lighthouse that makes for a lovely, simple excursion, or the Puerto de San Miguel<\/strong>, where you can have a traditional\u00a0 “bullit de peix” in the restaurant Port Balansat<\/strong>. From there you can make a short walk to the nearby Cala des Moltons<\/strong> where there is a great little bar called Utopia.<\/strong>\u00a0For the evening we suggest you dine in the town of San Rafael<\/a><\/u>, which has many excellent restaurants, and go out and party at one of the nearby clubs Amnesia <\/strong>or Privilege.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 5.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is essential that you set aside one of your 7 days<\/strong> for a visit to neighboring Formentera<\/strong>. There are an infinite number of tours that offer sangria or cava and nice atmosphere, although they usually have a scheduled returns and departures. Another option is to take a regular boat.\u00a0 The island is very small, but if you’re only going for a day we recommend you to rent a car<\/a><\/u>, scooter, or bicycle to be able to see all of it. You cannot miss the Faro de La Mola <\/strong>and Es Cap de Barbaria<\/strong>, as well as the beaches of Illetes, Mitjorn <\/strong>and Cala Saona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Day 6.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Enjoy a quiet and relaxing day at the beach on Sun d’en Serra<\/strong>, near Cala Llonga, where you’ll also find the luxury restaurant Amante,<\/strong>which boasts incredible ocean views. You can take advantage of a visit to other nearby beaches such as Cala Boix<\/strong> with its distinctive black sand and excellent restaurants<\/a><\/u> serving fish and other seafood, Cala Nova<\/strong>, medium-sized and also boasting very good restaurants, or Cala Llenya<\/strong>, where the famous restaurant El Bigote<\/strong> is located, one of the most typical places to enjoy the traditional “bullit”. That evening, you can enjoy the luxurious restaurant and cabaret L\u00edo,<\/strong> and keep the party going until quite late at the famous nightclub <\/u>\u00a0Pacha<\/strong>. Another equally recommendable option is to dine and continue the party at Heart<\/strong>, the dominion of the brothers Albert and Ferr\u00e1n Adri\u00e0 and Guy Lalibert\u00e9, creator of Cirque du Soleil. In this area, the Marina, you’ll find other restaurants and entertaining venues such as STK, Keeper…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 7.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We reserve the last day\u2014 yes, we know these last 7 days in Ibiza have just flown by! \u2013<\/strong>for a morning spent at Cala D’hort<\/strong>, with one of the best views of the famous island of Es Vedr\u00e1<\/strong>.\u00a0From here you can take a quick and beautiful trip to Torre des Savinar <\/strong>or Torre del Pirata<\/strong>, where you can take great photos. Have a meal at one of the excellent Mediterranean restaurants that exist in the Cove, El Carmen, Es Boldado <\/strong>or Cala d\u2019Hort<\/strong>. We’ll reserve the afternoon for the historical center of Ibiza, Dalt Vila<\/strong>, with its beautiful ramparts declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Stroll around the areas near the Puerto<\/strong> or the Marina<\/strong>, get your last-minute shopping done, take in the view from the ramparts, or visit a museum. You can have dinner in Ibiza Town, or give the island a farewell tribute by going to enjoy the sophisticated restaurant and lounge Km5.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
