A vacation with young kids <\/strong>to Ibiza<\/strong> provides the opportunity for a variety of excursions, all kinds of activities, and lots of fun.\u00a0 As a start, we recommend going to the calmest parts of the island: such as the municipalities of Santa Eulalia<\/a><\/u> and San Juan<\/a><\/u>, and avoiding Playa d’ Bossa<\/a><\/u> and San Antonio<\/a><\/u>, as the latter are renowned for their near-constant partying.<\/p>\n

A day at the beach with the kids<\/h2>\n

Throughout the entire island, you\u2019ll find many beaches where you can spend the day enjoying the sea, sand, and a variety of activities including pedal boats, kayaking, paddle boarding, scuba diving, windsurfing, and surf boarding<\/strong>… Some of the best beaches<\/u> to take kids to, for their calm tides, sand, shade, and for the variety of amenities on offer to make your stay more comfortable include Talamanca<\/a><\/u>, Cala Pada, Es Figueral, Portinatx, Puerto de San Miguel, Cala Llonga<\/a><\/u>, Cala Moli<\/a><\/u>, Cala de Sant Vicent… you\u2019ll have plenty to choose from, as Ibiza has tons of beaches.<\/p>\n

Swimming Pools And Water Parks<\/h2>\n

If you prefer fresh water, don’t miss out on Aguamar<\/strong>, a waterpark located on Playa d’en Bossa<\/a><\/u> or Sirenis Aguagames<\/strong>, in San Antonio<\/a><\/u>. Another option is to go enjoy a day at the pool and other activities at Ibiza Club de Campo, near Sant Jordi<\/a><\/u>, where in summer they organize children’s activities and have restaurants, a swimming pool, tennis courts, table tennis, and lawns to play on. If you’re traveling with older kids, make sure to visit Surf Lounge Ibiza in San Antonio, the only artificial wave on the island, where they can begin learning to surf. What\u2019s more, the location, which is very spacious, has a restaurant, cafeteria, pool, and gym… all that right on the beach.<\/p>\n

Excursions for kids on Ibiza<\/h2>\n

There are a variety of excursions organized on Ibiza<\/strong> that you can enjoy as a family. There are boat trips, many in “glass-bottom boats” with glass floors that allow you to observe fish, the seafloor and even\u2014if you’re lucky\u2014dolphins, which depart from the main ports and beaches of the island. Other things to do include visiting the Can Mar\u00e7\u00e1 Cave near San Miguel; going to the small but charming Cap Blanc Aquarium, located in a naturally occurring cave in San Antonio, where in summer they offer sardinadas<\/em> (grilled sardines) for dinner at a very affordable price; going for a hike or a bike ride along any of the well-marked trails that exist throughout the island. Another place that comes highly recommended is Acrobosc, a zip line park located in S’Argamassa, nearby Santa Eulalia<\/a><\/u> and Cala Pada.
