Ibiza is ideal for water sports thanks to its pleasant climate and calm seas all year round. Kayaking is an experience you will just love. The 200 km + coastline is surrounded by clear waters which let you can see the ocean floor, added to the fact that there are no strong currents nor waves make this sport is one of the island’s joys. Kayaking allows you to enjoy the coast of Ibiza from a different vantage point, at sea level, meaning that you can approach silently to watch birds and fish or to discover the multitude of natural caves which dot the landscape.
Another advantage of kayaking is that it does not demand a high level of fitness, and it is simple to pick up enough basic skills to enjoy an easy excursion. The difficulty of this sport really depends on the state of the sea which is why we always recommend that you listen to and take the advice of professionals especially on your first trips out.
You must remember to take sun cream, sunglasses and sunhat, shoes which can get wet and clothes which protect you from the sun and from grazes as well as of course water and snacks.
