How to celebrate a bachelor or bachelorette party on Ibiza

March 20, 2023

As the world’s partying capital, Ibiza is perfect for a bachelor or bachelorette party. Amazing beaches and bay beaches, incredible sunsets, and more importantly, the most famous clubs in the world featuring the very best international DJs. We bring you some recommendations and tips to successfully organise a bachelor or bachelorette party on Ibiza.

Once travelling to Ibiza has been arranged – by plane or boat only – the first thing to look into is accommodation. Without a doubt, renting a villa all to yourselves is the best option for a trip of these characteristics, as it will allow you to enjoy every minute of it in luxury and comfort.

Daytime plans for a bachelor or bachelorette party

If the bride or groom are peaceful people or if they are in need of relaxing, a great option is to explore the numerous gorgeous beaches and bay beaches on the island. In any event, we recommend you rent a car or a minivan (depending on the number of people going) to roam the island seamlessly and reach every corner in comfort. If what you are looking for is adventure tourism, there are numerous active entertainment options, such as paintball, skateboarding, parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing, banana boat or ringos (giant inflatable rings for everyone to get on at the same time). These two last options last just 15 minutes, so you may spend the rest of the day sunbathing on the beach in peace.

You could also just party during the day, and a good option for it is to go on one of the many party boats that leave from San Antonio or Playa d’en Bossa, such as Cirque La Nuit, Oceanbeat, Beautiful People, Pukka Up, Lost in Ibiza, Float Your Boat… For a fixed fee, they usually include an open bar, a catering or full meal service, music played by DJs, nautical activities, some pictures to remember it by and a great atmosphere.

Another good option involves going dancing at one of the daytime parties. The famous Ushuaïa Ibiza opens every day at 17:00 (or 15:00 in some cases) and closes at midnight. Another good option is the sea-facing Bora Bora in Playa d’en Bossa, it is free to get in and opens in the morning; then there’s San Antonio’s Ocean Beach Ibiza, which opens between 12:00 and 24:00; Destino, a gorgeous resort for adults in the Talamanca area where one might just grab a bite or enjoy the pool and the amazing views; Benimussa Park – Ibiza’s old zoo, which is a huge precinct where the original The Zoo Project is hosted, among others, and there are also the beach clubs Nassau, Blue Marlin, Nikki Beach… There is no shortage of options.

Evening options

As well as enjoying the eclectic, outstanding restaurant options, if you have chosen Ibiza for your bachelor or bachelorette party, in all probability it will have been because of its clubs and parties. Every night, the clubs host different evenings, all of which feature varied musical styles and Djs, although house, techno and EDM reign supreme. You may choose between the larger clubs like Pacha (Ibiza), Amnesia (San Rafael), Privilege (San Rafael),  (Playa d’en Bossa), Edén (San Antonio) or Es Paradís (San Antonio). There are numerous other venues like Heart, Ibiza Rocks Hotel, Sankeys, Swag, Cova Santa, DC-10, Hard Rock Hotel… And obviously tons of bars, clubs and beach bars.

If you’d rather not have to bother looking into the different options and would like to have it all organised beforehand, there are professional bachelor and bachelorette party organisers like Lokura Despedidas, Crazy Despedidas, Tu Despedida.com…
