Nordic Walking Routes in Ibiza

September 4, 2023

Ibiza is an excellent place to practice this sport, as its very flat terrain makes it a place full of routes accessible to all levels. What’s more, the island’s climate is mild and pleasant all year round, with little rainfall. And, of course, walking and exercising while enjoying the incredible Ibizan landscapes, with views of the turquoise waters of the sea or its reddish fields, is a real luxury.

What is Nordic Walking?

Nordic Walking is an excellent outdoor exercise that consists of walking with the help of poles similar to ski poles. During the winter season, some town halls usually organise Nordic walking routes in Ibiza, along with many other proposals for guided excursions.

When and where to go Nordic Walking in Ibiza?

In San Antonio

The San Antonio Town Hall has scheduled one excursion a month, always on a Sunday at 10 am. All of them are free of charge and dogs are not allowed. Nordic walking poles can be borrowed from the town hall.

Contact: Send an e-mail to esports@santantoni.net to ask for poles.

In San José

The Nordic walking excursions organised for the first time this winter by the San José Town Hall follow a similar scheme. They offer one excursion a month, on Saturday or Sunday, always at 10 am and they also lend you the poles if you need them. You can sign up or go directly to the excursion. Punctuality is important.

Contact: To sign up you can call the San José Swimmingpool: +34 971 801 504.

No excuses! Do sport this winter and enjoy the beauty of Ibiza’s nature.
