Water parks in Ibiza

March 20, 2023

In an island such as Ibiza, undoubtedly beaches are one of the main attractions. The numerous and highly varied turquoise-watered beaches on the island constitute an undeniable tourist attraction, but sometimes enjoying cooling down in a different way without annoyances such as salt, sand and potentially jellyfish makes for a welcome change… There is no shortage of swimming pools and water parks on Ibiza to enjoy a refreshing, fun day out.

Ibiza´s best water parks

  • Aguamar: Aguamar is considered Ibiza´s water park par excellence on account of being the most famous and well-equipped, as well as the one offering the best value for money. It is located in Playa d’en Bossa and boasts a number of swimming pools, slides of varying sizes, a pine forest area equipped with picnic tables to have lunch in the shade, solarium, gardened areas and a cafeteria offering very reasonable prices. It is worth mentioning that discounts are available for residents, and that ticket prices are cheaper on Saturdays.
  • Sirenis Aquagames: Featuring slides, swimming pools with water jets and a number of children’s areas, this water park is located in Port des Torrent, within the Sirenis Seaview hotel resort. It is ideal for slightly younger children, as many of its different areas and attractions are designed for them specifically. The park opens daily between the months of May and October, and there are three ticket options available: a day or half-day pass exclusively for accessing the water park, entry to the park including a buffet lunch and drinks, and a “Hotel Day Pass”, which grants access to the park, buffet lunch and open bar including drinks and snacks at the hotel’s beach bars throughout the day.
  • Surf Lounge Ibiza: It isn’t exactly a water park, but it will be popular among youths and slightly older children alike, as it boasts Ibiza’s only artificial wave, where you may practise your surfing skills. It also has a restaurant, a beach-facing gym and a swimming pool where numerous events and concerts are organised.
  • Piruleto Park: This well-known children’s park and play centre is located in Playa d’en Bossa and owned by Piruleto, one of Ibiza´s most famous clowns; it features a wet play area with water jets and a number of attractions. It does not have any swimming pools or slides, but it allows for a refreshing, fun day out.

Additionally, there are a number of hotels that feature themed water areas with slides, swimming pools, fountains, waterfalls and games where one might go for lunch and to spend the day. These hotels include Invisa Club Cala Blanca (in Es Figueral), Sandos El Greco Beach Hotel (Portinatx), Intertour Hotel Miami (Es Canar), Grand Palladium Palace (Playa d’en Bossa), Fiesta Hotel (Cala Nova), Balansat Resort (Puerto de San Miguel), etc. There are loads to choose from!
