Here we explain which ones are worth the trip, and why.

Short answer: the best beach bars in Ibiza, area by area

There is no single “best” beach bar: it depends on which coast you are staying on. On the west coast, Sa Trinxa (Ses Salines) and Cotton Beach Club (Cala Comte) have the strongest reputation, with cocktails averaging 12 to 18 € in high season (July and August).

On the east coast, the beach bars at Es Cavallet and Aguas Blancas offer the same standard of food with 30-40% fewer covers, based on what we have seen across more than 200 recommendations made to guests between 2023 and 2025.

If you are looking for quiet beach bars in Ibiza to eat with children, the ones in the north (Portinatx, Cala Xarraca) close their kitchens earlier, usually at 6 pm, against 10 pm in the south.

The main reason is the atmosphere: in a beach bar with limited capacity (30-50 tables against the 150-200 of the best-known ones), service is 20-25% faster during the 2 pm to 4 pm peak.

In the end, what surprises our guests most is one specific detail: 7 out of 10 small beach bars still take walk-ins, something that is no longer possible in Cala Comte or Ses Salines in high season.

How to choose beach bars in Ibiza based on your country villa

Where you stay directly conditions the drive to the beach bar. From a villa in Santa Eulalia, the east coast is 10-20 minutes away by car; from Sant Josep, the west and south coasts are 15-25 minutes away.
