LAS PALOMAS

La Paloma is a fantastic house with magical panoramic views of the Mediterranean and sunset towards the islands of Conillera, S’Espartar and Es Vedrála, nestled in a lush pine forest between San José and Cala Tarida.

Two separate chill-out areas have been created for watching the sunset and an outdoor table shaded by a vegetation covered trellis provides an ideal spot for al fresco dining, while the sun loungers spread around the pool offer a sleek counterpoint to the rugged stonework of the landscaping. Inside, it is in immaculate condition, with top of the line fixtures and furnishings. The micro-cement floors in silver grey and stone bath tubs in the bathrooms, as well as the pure white for all walls and the use of teak and zebrano capture the light and feel of the island. The property is accessed through electric gates, allowing for increased privacy and security. Comfort is enhanced by its short distance to the beautiful beaches of  Cala Tarida, Cala Moli or Cala Vadella, full off excellent restaurants serving fresh seafood and shopping in the village of San Jose nearby.

The main entrance leads into the living room with sea views. The separate dining room, also with sea views, has a large solid wood table and seats 6-8 people. The dining room is connected to the kitchen. To the left of the main entrance, there are two double bedrooms with independent access from the pool. Both have 1.8m x 2m beds and sea views. One of them has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, while the second bedroom has a separate bathroom, also with walk-in shower.
The other two bedroom-suites are independent from the flat and can only be accessed from the outside. The first suite is located on the upper floor and is accessed via an external staircase. To the right we find a large bathroom with a concrete bathtub. The double bedroom is equipped with a king size bed (2m x 2m), its own living room with fireplace, TV and a music system. It has large sliding glass doors overlooking the sea and giving access to a private terrace equipped with table, chairs and 2 sun loungers.
The second suite is located at ground level in a separate building (bungalow). It has a king size bed (2m x 2m) and en-suite bathroom with shower. This independent bungalow is accessed through 2 large sliding glass doors leading to the pool and chill out area. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.

Private drive in with electric gate leads to a large parking area. Past the parking and separated by a small wall, is the infinity swimming pool (6m x 8m) surrounded by sun loungers and the chill out area equipped with several separate seating areas. On the other side of the villa, is a table under shaded canopy that seats 10 with built in barbecue. The house itself has 320m2 and the land around the house 2.450m2. Recently installed solar panels.

Those who choose to rent Villa Las Palomas will have the opportunity to discover some of the most attractive spots on Ibiza’s west coast, an area that combines beaches with crystal-clear waters, excellent cuisine and the tranquillity characteristic of the municipality of Sant Josep.
One of the most highly recommended beaches in the area is Cala Tarida, known for its long stretch of white sand and spectacular turquoise waters. Thanks to its size, it is an excellent choice for families, groups of friends or any visitor wishing to enjoy a full day by the sea. The beach offers a wide range of facilities, including restaurants, beach clubs, sun lounger hire and water sports. To make the most of your day, it’s advisable to arrive early during the summer months, especially if you’re travelling by car. The far ends of the beach offer quieter spots and are perfect for those wishing to go snorkelling or explore small coves and rock formations away from the busier areas. Nearby is Cala Molí, a small bay surrounded by nature that offers a more relaxed and exclusive experience. Unlike other beaches in the area, this one is mainly made up of stones and rocky outcrops, so it’s advisable to wear suitable footwear to get into the water comfortably. Its clean, crystal-clear waters make this cove one of the best spots for spotting fish and enjoying a spot of snorkelling. It’s an ideal choice for those looking to unwind, read by the sea or simply enjoy the Mediterranean scenery. As there are few facilities available, it’s a good idea to bring water and everything you need to spend a few hours in comfort.
Just a few minutes’ drive from Villa Las Palomas lies Sant Josep de sa Talaia, one of Ibiza’s most charming villages and a must-visit for visitors to the area. As well as supermarkets, a chemist’s, banks and other practical services, the village offers an interesting selection of cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy the local cuisine. It’s the perfect place to start the day with a leisurely breakfast or do the shopping you’ll need for your stay. The new gym next to the church offers weekly passes and private sessions for those who don’t want to miss their workout whilst on holiday. If your visit happens to fall on a Saturday morning, it’s well worth popping along to the local market, which takes place from 10.00 to 13.30 in the town centre. There you’ll find handcrafted goods, local produce, clothing, accessories and typical island souvenirs, as well as live music from 12.00 onwards, creating a very pleasant atmosphere for both residents and visitors alike.
